5. 3 Choke Escapes

Chokes, especially the rear naked choke, is absolutely a powerful and super-difficult-to-escape type of submission. No wonder this technique ended so many matches in MMA.

Even when your attacker is getting close to accomplishing this submission, don’t just give up. There is still a great chance of escaping this situation.

You can try eye gouging, or finger-bending or you can bite your attacker. These methods are illegal in MMA, but they can be a real lifesaver in actual situations. Use these techniques from fightTIPS to quickly break the hold.

What is a rear naked choke? It is a dangerous chokehold attack from behind that obstructs the flow of blood from the heart to the brain.

6. Choke Against the Wall Defense

the krav maga choke defense could be effective even if you’re not against a wall (or car). you could even change it up and shoot your arm (or elbow) up through the center to break the choke grip. take care in practicing the elbow part it’s super easy to accidentally nail your partner even at slow speed.
