2. How to Get Out of a Headlock

One of the most powerful submissions holds is the headlock. You need to exert maximum force to get out. But the person being headlocked has, in fact, the better position than the attacker.

3. How to Fight Off Multiple Attackers

One of the worst scenarios you can possibly encounter with multiple attackers is being cornered. When your back is against the wall with several attackers hitting you, escaping may seem futile.

Most people will just cover up and wish they would not be beaten to death. Little did we know, we could use this situation to our advantage.

This is where the power of street fighting can save your behind. In this video from Modern Combat and Survival, you will learn one of the most effective self-defense training techniques against multiple attackers.

4. Bear Hug Escapes

5. 3 Choke Escapes

Chokes, especially the rear naked choke, is absolutely a powerful and super-difficult-to-escape type of submission. No wonder this technique ended so many matches in MMA.

Even when your attacker is getting close to accomplishing this submission, don't just give up. There is still a great chance of escaping this situation.

You can try eye gouging, or finger-bending or you can bite your attacker. These methods are illegal in MMA, but they can be a real lifesaver in actual situations. Use these techniques from fightTIPS to quickly break the hold.

What is a rear naked choke? It is a dangerous chokehold attack from behind that obstructs the flow of blood from the heart to the brain.

6. Choke Against the Wall Defense

This effective technique will help you get out when someone has pushed you against the wall and tries to choke you. It can be a very dangerous attack since the wall is preventing you from escaping.

You need to counteract fast before you lose consciousness because of the choke. Watch this video from KMWKravMaga and find out the best technique to get out of this threatening situation.

7. Self-Defense Pressure Points

A deliberate and powerful strike in your attacker's pressure points can cause extreme pain, stunning sensation, and balance disruption. You can easily knock them out and get out of that dangerous situation unharmed.

This video from MEMESelfDefence will show you that hitting these pressure points even with little amount of force can neutralize your attacker.

the krav maga choke defense could be effective even if you’re not against a wall (or car). you could even change it up and shoot your arm (or elbow) up through the center to break the choke grip. take care in practicing the elbow part it’s super easy to accidentally nail your partner even at slow speed.
