Part of the problem of stuff stored in my car is it going bad. The heat of summer wreaks havoc with adhesives in the first aid box, so maybe that would be the case with the duct tape in the bug out bag. I wonder about all those chemicals drying up or possibly exploding. I keep a bug out bag in my car, but figure the dehydrated food is going bad as it is better to store it cool.
