A Tactical Shotgun Scabbard Perfect for Survival

The Tactical Shotgun Scabbard by Beez Combat Systems was designed to stand out from all other shotgun scabbards currently available on the market. While most shotgun scabbards have a single strap or MOLLE attachment straps, Beez Combat Systems took it further.

It is made from genuine Cordura materials and is capable of carrying multiple tools such as pry bar for breach and entry purposes. The Tactical Shotgun Scabbard features a vertical design and a four-point adjustable harness making it the only scabbard of its kind on the market.

Origins of the Tactical Shotgun Scabbard

First Design Consideration

The first design consideration behind the Tactical Scabbard by Beez Combat Systems was for vertical carry. To reduce space taken on the sides from gears, a diagonal placement design was in order.

Due to this, the gear's opening was also slightly increased to convenience the wearer when drawing their weapon from a vertical position.

Second Design Consideration

The second design consideration was to completely eliminate the sling or diagonal strap. Instead, a four-point system was designed.

First, two adjustable shoulder straps, then an adjustable chest strap, and an adjustable waist strap. This is in order to comfortably contour to the body’s alignment, and lastly, create a steady platform to draw the weapon.

A 2” row of the shotgun scabbard MOLLE webbing can also be found to adjust the waist strap or to be used to mount the scabbard to other gear.

What Is MOLLE? It is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment. It becomes, in effect, the standards for military and arm forces for their tactical gear.

Third Design Consideration

The third design consideration was to add the tools necessary for door breachers and door kickers. A simple diagonal 2” piece of webbing can be found sewn onto the exterior of the gear 18” in length reaching up to the left shoulder.

This allows the wearer then, to extract the pry tool without ever having to take off the tactical gear.

Final Design Consideration

Finally, the fourth design consideration was how to secure the weapon in place in case of an inverted positioning or if a lot of ground needs to be covered very quickly. A 1” weapon strap can be found at the mouth of the gear where the weapon is inserted.

This 1” strap is adjustable and also features a buckle for securing buttstocks or pistol grips into place. This buckle can also be unbuckled from the vertical position before drawing the weapon.
