Re: The garden secret you must know to feed yourself
Dear Friend,
I didn't always grow my own food.
Like most people, when I needed groceries I went to the store.
It was convenient, but with skyrocketing food prices, it was getting expensive.
Plus, I was totally dependent on whatever came in off the delivery trucks on any given day. Any disruption in the system and I'd be just as hungry as the next guy.
Worrying about how I'd feed my family in a crisis made it hard to sleep at night.
Supermarket shelves get stripped bare at the first sign of a disaster – so if I didn't want to dumpster dive for food in an emergency, I needed my own supply.
But my yard just wasn't big enough for a garden… or at least that's what I thought.
