These sprays, oils, and solutions are easy to find and are commonly seen in your kitchen.

How to Get Rid of Spiders the Chemical-Free Way

1. Vinegar Spray

Vinegar is a great homemade spider repellent. Mix one cup of white vinegar in a spray bottle with two cups of water.

Spray this mixture around your house at the spider entry points such as windows, doors, air vents, etc.

2. Lavender Oil

You can sprinkle a dash of lavender oil in spider-dominated areas to repel these arachnids.

Also, to avoid spiders from entering your house, just fill a flower vase with a little bit of water and add 5 drops of lavender oil to it. The aroma of lavender oil stops the spiders dead in their tracks and they will not enter your home.

3. Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil is not only great for headaches it’s also an amazing spider repellent. Non-venomous spiders and venomous spiders hate the strong smell of peppermint and it will keep them away.

4. Scented Candles

Scented candles are not just great for decoration, but they make a great spider repellent too! Light scented candles with lavender, citronella, lime, etc., and the spiders won’t inhabit that area.

5. Lemon

The citrus smell is something spiders hate! Mix lemon with water and use it as a spider repellent spray.

You can also use lemon-scented hand wash, liquid soap, floor cleaner, etc to avoid the entry of spiders into your home.

Also, you can dry lemon peels in the sun and grind them to make powder. Mix it with water then spray the mixture at the required areas to make your home spider-free.

6. Turmeric Powder

    If tomato leaves repel spiders why do I have spiders all over my tomato plants?

    You have to mix the leaves and water together to form a mixture you can spray. I assume that means you must tear the leaves into small pieces and any liquid from inside the leaf will mix into the water. This mix will then kill or the smell will deter the spiders whereas the whole leaves did not have the same chemical effect.
    Did anyone identify the spider in the picture?

    I heard Baking soda is a good repellent for spiders. They absolutely hate it or go anywhere near by. spill baking soda at the corners of your window and some dark places…
