With the Grand Jury’s announcement last night, Ferguson has once again erupted in violence.

In case you hadn’t heard, the Grand Jury decided not to indict officer Darren Wilson for the shooting of Michael Brown, deciding that he was within his rights as a police officer to use lethal force. As a result, riots broke out in Ferguson and all across the country as supporters of the Brown family staged protests against the verdict.

Whether you agree with the verdict or not, you have to be aware that riots like this can get out of hand very quickly. Last night, protesters and looters robbed stores, set cars on fire and harassed police officers, while officers hurled tear gas. The city is in chaos and it doesn’t show any signs of stopping any time soon.

Don’t take too much comfort if you live nowhere near Ferguson, Missouri. There were protests in New York, LA, DC, Seattle and other cities all across the country. It’s very likely that no matter where you are, there’s a protest taking place not far from you.

With that in mind, we’ve collected our previous posts from the original incident in Ferguson. Please take a look at these and prepare yourself in case you ever find yourself amidst a mob.

As we’ve seen with the recent events in Ferguson, Missouri, or even back in 2005 with Hurricane Katrina, sometimes all it takes is an emotionally heavy event to bring out the worst in people. Heck, we’ve even seen riots break out at sporting events – from both the losing and winning sides.

These opportunists will jump at the first sign of chaos and use it to their advantage to loot and steal from private homes and businesses, causing incredible damage. They’re selfish, greedy, and don’t care about the lives or property of the people affected by their animalistic behavior.
